Greek producer and electronic music activist Echonomist has been releasing distinctive and quality house music for years now, on esteemed labels France’s Time Has Changed or his own co-run VIP label. An infectious blend of deep house fused with techy modern production has landed the up and coming producer on Steve Bug’s Dessous imprint with this, his debut EP for the label, featuring the vocal talents of Berlin based upstart Mz.Sunday Luv. Lead track ‘Real Love’ comes in various forms, the original being a vintage styled classic house jam, infused with Sunday’s truthful treatise about love in all its forms. Echonomist’s solid beats, Chicago bassline and dramatic snare rolls make this a real showstopper. The track is then revisited in a more East Coast slow jam style, full of lovingly produced details and warm summertime synth goodness. Flemish talent San Soda reworks ‘Real Love’ into a real late night burner, bringing in a more European electronic vibe with heavy bass and climbing dramatic synths.
