Having signed his debut album to Blackout Music, Data opens his account with perhaps his finest release so far. 'Burning Paradise' opens with doom-laden chords, describing a post-apocalyptic landscape laid waste by machines of war. Teases of sub and kick only hint at the drop to come, where seismic bass undulations are joined by minimal halftime drums, whip-crack snares and atonal tinpan drums. 'Prognosis' maintains the dystopian future vibes with a tight pattern of precision-engineered drums and subbass carrier waves, laced with cold-vacuum atmospherics and panic-inducing FX.
