Good things come to those who wait: the second release on the Crazylegs label finally arrives in the form of an incendiary solo debut from Nottingham's Toyc.
Fresh from guest appearances on Boiler Room and BBC Radio 1, Ruffer and Keyframe represent a bold snapshot of Toyc's unique sound: two dangerous slabs of light-footed, elastic bassweight that you may well recognise from the sets of Jackmaster and Ben UFO.
Backing up the originals, an old vs new-skool grime soundclash, if you will 8 bar pioneer Youngstar and thrilling Belfast newcomer Bloom run amok with versions of Keyframe. And finally the inimitable Danny Native twists Ruffer into one of the most menacing pieces of dance music you'll hear all year.
