Simon's second offering on BXL starts off with Black Mass Tape, a dark discoïd track on the A-side named after the tape delay echo used in production.
The pushing and pulling around a hypnotic and incessant siren power the first track on the B-side, followed by a second one taking the hypnosis deeper through a fizzy bass line, resonant drone and crisp hi-hats, punctured by additional percussive elements near the end of the track to give way to a polyrhythmic work-out.
