After making new friends with their recent ‘disco 45’ ‘High On You’, Seahawks change course once again to explore waters new. ‘No More Raindrops’ is a beautiful piece of tropical reggae dub where salt washed wah guitars and ghostly vocals ‘pulsate into the voltage’ to create an essential taste of summer. The flip features Hot Chip man Al Doyle on steel pan making the track impossibly exotic. The CD returns to the cosmic yacht rock vibes of last years ‘Ocean Trippin’ with all manner of washed out, deep sea adventures. As always the sound takes you on a high grade narcotic trip as you glide in and out of underwater caves and explore phantom islands before arriving at the ghost reef, feeling unwashed and somewhat slightly dazed. Like the man says this is 'the closest thing to instant beach teleportation'. As always with Seahawks this release is beautifully packaged and extremely limited with no downloads.
