After much debate, we came up with the concept of selecting our favourite stateside disco cuts from between 1980 and 1985 and reworking them into 4 entirely new tracks. The heads among us will be able to spot ‘When I’m Feelin’ borrows from Geraldine Hunt’s ‘Can’t Fake The Feeling’, ‘My Love’ samples Ned Doheny’s ‘To Prove My Love’, while ‘Everybody Loves Good Music’ pays homage to the Dayton’s ‘The Sound Of Music’, with ‘All Night’ inspired by Inner Life & Jocelyn Brown’s ‘Moment Of My Life’.
