A1. All Night
B1. Sunset
B2. Just Like This
With no rest for the wicked, label exclusive artist Ladzinski is back for 2011 with a solo EP jammed pack full of up front house tracks.
Just Like That is boe’s most dance floor focused EP in a while with jacking 808 drum rhythms, soaring pads and plenty of hands in the air moments.
All Night is a true groove-a-thon that hardly lets the beat go during its nine-minute length. It’s a more conventional sound pushing towards tech house territory but the classic 808 drums and bouncy syncopated chords give it a fresh breath of Chicago deepness. A set of searing high-pass filtered pads, sweeping and curving across the frequencies really push the track’s energy towards the peak and Ladzinski’s subtle arrangements keep the groove focused till the end. It’s a peak time house track for those like to boompty with style.
Sunset expectedly lives up to its name as a clean sounding melodic tech house cut that sounds just as good in a club as it does on a beach. Ladzinski definitely shows his range as a producer shifting from his recognised classic house sound so something very contemporary and European. The beats are crisp with the typical swing but the chords, pads and zappy leads bring together a harmony accustomed to larger rooms and bigger crowds.
Just Like This closes out the EP with some blissed out deep house vibes. It’s a pacey and bumpy cut with a catchy vocal singing beautifully on top of lush Rhodes chords. Perfect for back room moments to get people onto their feet to swing their bottoms.
