Hailing from Japan Free Disco moved to London two years ago and brought with him an ear for deep music. Already an accomplished composer, record collector and disco selector when he sent out a demo of his new recordings it wasn’t just Electric Minds that took note but also New York’s Rong Music where he will release later this year.. The A side “Psychedelic Symmetry” is a fast paced track made for the dance floor. Heavy bass through out which is bound to find favor with the house heads as well as the lovers of the nu disco sound. The B side “Hippe Can Dance With Boogie” leans towards the cosmic with a spacey sound accompanied by live bass and keys.For this project we have commissioned our first remix with Stevie Kotey. Kotey chose to remix “Hippe Can Dance With Boogie” creating a spacey disco excursion. He has added live percussion, new drums and replayed the synths so the full treatment from one of today’s finest remixers !
