"Firefly" is the newest EP from Black Light Smoke - real name Jordan Lieb - for Brooklyn-based label Scissor & Thread. When he isn't composing soundtracks for film and television or making music under his myriad other monikers, Lieb gets raw as Black Light Smoke, melting down elements of house, 80s and 90s synth pop, electro and punk into moody dance ballads. The Firefly EP provides DJs and dancers with four more tracks of gritty vibes, pressurized grooves and memorable vocals that have become staples of the shadowy project.
