Finlands Aki Latvamäki, sometimes known as Artificial Latvamäki, steps up for Halo Cyans final release of 2012, the It Is Not Now Either EP. Latvamäki has previously released tracks on Cocoon, Clone, and Curle. The EPs title track is actually Latvamäkis own edit of its original version, a track which was heavily supported by Ellen Allien (showing up in her seminal Fabric mix) and James Zabiela among others. Presented here as his Organic Disco Edit, the tune is transformed into a truly epic techno opus of anthemic proportions, clocking in at over 10 minutes in length. B-side Now A Series Of flexes Latvamäkis experimental tendencies in a paranoid thump awash with subliminal impulses. UK rising star Max Cooper closes out the record with his Sub Dub version of the title track, applying scientifically-precise rations of bass, peppered with the touches of glitch and trance which characterize his own highly original productions. The vinyl is limited to 200, and exquisitely packaged in a die-cut and debossed jacket with matching coloured inner.
