A. First up is Apex's re-lick of London Elektricity's 'Just One Second', the unforgettable anthem featured on 2008's 'Syncopated City'. Those who attended Hospitality at the 02 Academy back in September will remember London Elektricity dropping this one to the delight of 4,000 ravers. This is just a taste of what is to come in Hospitality 2011.
B. Bloke4d ‘The Way Life Used To Be’
Up next with their second cut on the Hospital imprint is Blokhe4d bringing the drum-step epic ‘The Way Life Used To Be’. With its sing-a-long vocal sample and memorable synth line, this track will be occupying the record bag of many a DJ over the course of the winter months. Hands- in-the-air business, straight up.
C. Sigma & Logistics ‘Dreams 2 Reality‘
One of the hottest production units in drum + bass at the moment Sigma team up with Hospital’s very own Logistics. With its catchy chopped-up vocal, emotional strings and an infectious bassline, ‘Dreams 2 Reality’ has all the attributes to become a timeless classic. A killer combination.
D. Fred V ‘Simple Beginnings’
Finishing up with an injection of new blood is Fred V with ‘Simple Beginnings’ - his first outing on the label. There is an incredible ambience that runs throughout the track that is simultaneously intriguing, hypnotic and capable of heating up the dancefloor. ‘Simple Beginning’s provides the final piece of the jigsaw in an EP showcasing exceptional talent of both old and new.
