“Float”, the second release of Mannheim’s Intermission crew, is focused on the dancefloor and features tracks from their resident DJs and close friends from the label and party series. Reversing the grade is a standout track from Berlin-based mul.apin, a trippy and infectious slice of house music. Andy Hart is on remix duties and twists it into a warm, relaxed balearic summer track - pure joy! On the B-side, Hydrofi’s vinyl exclusive “Boat Rockin’” brings some bassline and RnB goodness to turn the dancefloor into a sweaty mess. Last but not least, “Ruffy” by Intermission residents Joy of Giving ups the energy, inspired by the golden rave era with raw breakbeats and hoover sounds.
