The first vinyl entitled “Part 1 - House…” is self-explanatory. Composed of 2 sides, with 2 tracks on each side, this record is all about House Music #allnightlong. Nothing more, nothing less. True to the core values and music of the label, this print will delight any House Music aficionado, blending moving vocals, up-tempo beats, energizing synths and earworm-like melodies. 4 tracks, 5 artists making up for over 25 minutes of dancing fever, perfectly suited for unstoppable dance floors as well as quality listening sessions. The second record entitled “Part 2 - … et plus si affinités” is a more eclectic mix. Again, this second record is composed of 4 tracks, 2 per side. Tracks range from deep and melodic Electronica to psychedelic techno, including steroid-injected house (understand extremely powerful melodic and tech-house). Here Jean Yann Records is exquisitely showcasing the broad spectrum of genres that its roaster represents. Overall “House et plus si affinités”, meaning “House music and more if we click” (in a cheeky way), is a gospel describing the label’s potential, aspirations and intentions.
