Russian producer Valya Kan debuts on Spencer Parker's Work Them Records with a four track sampler from her subterranean album ‘Dust And Haze'. ‘Leave' opens up the sampler with tantalising synths and dubby effects before you're lead into ‘Promises' featuring Valya Kan's voice, uttering the track title whilst syncopated percussion and ghostly atmospherics work their magic. Flip it over and you're hit with the whirring sci-fi elements and rattling samples in 'Smoke In The Cockpit'. Rounding off the sampler ‘Acid Hotel' is a more up-tempo, demonstrating rolling arpeggios and snappy snares.
