Bearing this in mind Taron-Trekka (alias Daniel Mu?ller-Sachs and Andreas Kriester from Berlin and Jena) put three EPs out since 2014 in the name of violet, yellow and black magic. These will reappear as a bundle titled „Magic Edition“ on Freude am Tanzen. In other words: three 12 inches replete with profound house and techno which all contain that certain Taron Trekka magic. However, the duo isn’t spouting any cocky tricks a? la Copperfield. They are rather like thimble riggers or card jug- glers. The type of guys who surprise you when you least expect it. Those who have already outwitted your mind while you were still awaiting the kick-off. How do Taron-Trekka manage this? With perfect grooves that glimmer until late at night and beyond. Such that create elegant, deeply soulful tracks which mix both of their various influences together as an original hybrid and magically release tremendous amounts of energy.
