Italian producer Simone Fedi, hailing from Tuscany, takes things to a whole new level on this third release on Eskimo Recordings. ‘Bitter Devotion’ is a vocal pop gem with a Balearic tinge, but its bittersweet vocals and the addictive melody will haunt you. For this tune Fedi, a multi-instrumentalist with a knack for pop music and a soft spot for vintage gear, joined forces with a mysterious singer named Lola Rent, and this turns out to be a winning team.
