Over The Mountains is Segue’s second album on Silent Season, a follow up to Pacifica which was released to much praise in 2013. Over The Mountains continues the course in true Segue fashion with an album full of dubbed out atmospheric grooves and deep organic structures. The sound is consumed by nature—immense, enveloping nature in Jordan Sauer’s never-ending quest to capture the sublime. The record feels like a nostalgic dream swirling in melodies and buzzing with nature sounds. Over The Mountains is honourably another awe-inspiring album of lush landscapes by this Canadian artist.
