PETE RIVERA is the mastermind of RIVERA ROTATION, managing director and musical advisor of everything which happens at Lounge club in Hamburg. Looking back on an eventful history of 15 years as a DJ, club-owner and traveller between the musical worlds of latin, house and soul he is also the compiler of the renowned MUSIC FOR MODERN LIVING series and DJs in like-minded clubs all over his home country of Germany. Following his recent remixes for MO’ HORIZONS and tracks with deep-house-specialist Vincenzo (for the DRUM RHYTHM SOUNDCHECK compilations among ROCKERS HI-FI, PEACE ORCHESTRA and many others) RIVERA now presents his first solo recording. Together with Hamburg’s sound designer Lucky Loop he cut two versions of „Latinica Witch“. Vincenzo honoured „Latinica Witch“ with a special „Satin Soul Mix“ which makes this 12“ more than a simple DJ-tool and guarantees pure soulful electronic listening pleasure.
