Repress. Steffen Laschinski continues to draw on expansive themes of deepness under the Rising Sun name, once again gracing the Kristofferson imprint with a highly limited release. Pressed up in a quantity of only 100, the Remember Me EP continues the work Laschinski explored on last month's Nostalgia EP, commencing in superb fashion with the detailed orchestral touches of the title track. Complemented by intermittent vocal contributions and a thick set lolloping groove, the relentless yet wholly calm waves of strings can't help but captivate your senses. On the flip, the equally good "So Underground" ghosts into action dominated by the fragile titular vocal which echoes over a minimalist shuffle in a manner similar to the timeless Sven Weismann remix of Aaron Carl's "Wallshaker".
