'Poor Man Style' opens with hazey, smoked out reggae vocals for all the sufferah’s accompanied with suitably solar bass warmth and nimble drums. The low-key intro leaves the listener ill prepared for the 1st drop’s lazer cannon bombardment. Lurching distorted midrange is tsunami-ed through the speakers with bowel wrenching subs and a Cylon minded synthesis. This deluge of sound is punctuated with reverse engineered periods of calm. 'Wickedist Sound' on the flip is even more direct, aiming directly for the throat with a Ruskoesque ensemble soaring synthwork and unprocessed dark matter. Heavy.
