Following on from the “colours” series is the new album from Posthuman, with
recent releases on B12 Records, Uncharted Audio, and Handsette picking up
plaudits from Simian Mobile Disco, Andy Weatherall, Laurent Garnier, Dave
Clarke, SLAM, Chris Coco, Rob Da Bank, DJ Snoop, and rave reviews in DJ Mag,
Mixmag, and IDJ.
Planted firmly in the space between Mr Oizo and Modeselektor, with a serious
nod to Red-era Dave Clarke, Syn Emergence is aimed directly at the
dancefloor: from the twisted bassline of opener “Brickhead” and jacking
techno / rave hybrid of Eruder” to the relentless stomp of “Stockholm
Syndrome” and “Crone”, this album is a statement of intent from Posthuman:
their strongest - and hardest - release to date.
Syn Emergence is the first full album release on Balkan Vinyl. In
beautifully designed lush packaging on heavy card with matt print & UV
spot-gloss text that shimmers in the light, and fully printed glossy inner
sleeves, split across two editions – double picturedisc and double
heavyweight vinyl, each with a CD enclosed in the sleeve.
