ONE EYED JACKS is, as some of you will know, the name of the brothel in Twin Peaks - the place where most of the wrong stuff happens. It is also a label created by us, Photonz, and surely just another way of expressing our damn selves - on another level and more directly. We've had the chance of releasing music on some of our favorite labels (D-I-R-T-Y, Dissident, etc) but we always thought that very rarely labels pick our favorite tracks. ONE EYED JACKS will be releasing 12inch vinyls, with DJ's in mind. You can expect the sound to be some kind of an heterogeneous blend between the naivety of early rave, the jack tradition (early Chicago Acid House, James T. Cotton, Steve Summers, Snuff Crew, etc.) and more current musical expressions - we are definitely inspired by producers and bands like Zomby, Actress, Roska, the Numbers label, Gala Drop, Tropa Macaca, Danny Wolfers, The Neptunes, Basic Soul Unit and many more.
