The title track, a subtle protest to the algorithm-driven consumption of music, packs a serious emotive punch with its vintage House-oriented chord style and expressive, upbeat drums. ‘Groove Theory’ almost feels like a continuation of the title track, with the strong vibrations carried over through yet another inspired chord progression and emphatic, hands-in-the-air energy. ‘Trapped in Love’ hangs its hat on the permeating bassline and euphoric vocals up top, with inventive acid tinges placed throughout for maximum impact.
