Eastbound Recordings returns for its 3rd release! This time on a very deep tip, perfect for those long summer nights. Orlando B presents two deep house grooves and MR G takes care of the B-Side with his hypnotic ‘Mellow’ remix. ‘Dreaming of Then’ is an emotionally charged melodic house track with heavy Detroit overtones. The track builds up using simple house rhythms over a seriously fat bass line and a hypnotic analogue riff until the kick drops taking the listener on a dreamlike journey. Melancholy is a laid-back bumpin’ house track with a distinctive oldskool Chicago vibe. A rollin’ Moog bass line is overlaid with deep pads, jazzy Rhodes, lush strings and a real nice vocal sample. On the flip MR G’s interpretation of Melancholy is a stripped down techy affair, which uses a minimal organ sound to work the groove before introducing a hypnotic analogue riff that twists and turns getting inside your head.
