Celebrated British producer O'Flynn presents his highly anticipated third studio album 'Kairos.' Since emerging in 2015, O’Flynn has become a key figure in the UK electronic scene, releasing on Silver Bear, Blip Discs, Ninja Tune and his own imprint Panthus, with support from artists including Four Tet, Ben UFO, Gilles Peterson, James Blake and Bonobo. Across his acclaimed debut ‘Aletheia’ (2019) and follow-up ‘Talia’ (2021), he has carved out a distinctive sonic identity rooted in texture, rhythm and global influence. With ‘Kairos’, O’Flynn marks a conscious and symbolic return to the creative ethos that shaped ‘Aletheia’. After several years of evolution, collaboration and touring, the album sees him reconnect with a more instinctive, sample-led process, drawing directly from the world around him and allowing found sounds to guide each composition. The album’s title references the Greek concept of a critical or opportune moment, an idea that reflects both its long gestation and its place as a pivotal point in O’Flynn’s artistic journey. Built from field recordings, chance discoveries and crate-dug samples, ‘Kairos’ moves fluidly between moods, genres and energies, unified by a process that prioritises intuition and exploration.
