Nima Gorji returns to the murmur label in the new decade with two dancefloor seducing tracks on 'Yesterdays' EP. A second artist EP for Nima Gorji on murmur, 'Yesterdays' EP unites pure grooves with lashing beats, sedating the dancefloor with 'Forbidden Ritual' and electrifying it with 'Watching Out.' On 'Forbidden Ritual' Nima took inspiration from the Brazilian instrument Berimbau. "It was used in capoeira," explains Nima. "this culture and the it's rituals was forbidden in Brazil from 1892 and capoeira was against the law for 20 years until 1918." These hints of history encapsulate a mysterious aura for the record, and create a spell-binding listen. Taking a more traditional approach for the B side, Nima remarks, "Watching out' is the kind of a groove I usually work with and pure dancefloor cut."
