Bossa nova, deep techno, hip hop, broken beat and jazz all find common ground in a sound that is a genre all of its own. With 'Detriot' he truly has created a masterpiece. Combining electronic stabs with warm keys, this track builds and builds into an epic, emotive journey that's reminiscent of the sound of early Detroit (as the name suggests). With so many superb, original elements (including a breakdown that is sure to grab people's attention), this release demonstrates just what an incredible talent Moonstarr is.
