First up is 'Brandy' by Little John - originally performed by the O'Jays, the song is altered here by John to tell the tale of a yard-style unrequited love story. Backed with the most murderous combination by Little John and the late Billy Boyo on this uncredited tune, dubbed by Spring Hill as 'Houseman Connection', plus Brandy version. Sharing one mic, check out the best child duo in reggae history rough it up, on top form, sound system style. The record was produced by Toyan and was originally released in 1982 on his label 'Look How Me Sexy', followed by a UK release on the 'Music Lovers' imprint.
