Kidkut is the production alias of Adam Jackson – owner of the highly respected Immerse record label based in Bristol. This is his 2nd release at the controls following the fresh tropical blast of ‘Lilt’ / ‘I Love 04’ on Applepips. A: ‘Get Sum’ begins it’s charge with skippy snares and skankin’ chords propelling the track towards a killer bouncing groove containing weighty bass blasts and tight vocal cut ups. It’s like the perfect amalgam of brash breaks and carnival energy. However, when we hit the breakdown we are suddenly thrown back thru the mists of time to the glory days of our UK rave heritage.
