Following his release on Naked Lunch, Canadian producer Kevin McPhee returns with his first release on Bristol’s Idle Hands label. ‘Sleep’ gives subtle nods to early Burial tracks whilst showcasing McPhee’s individual charm and a contemporary house sound. ‘House 44’ wears influences from Actress and Herbert on it’s sleeve, offering a stripped down swagger that travels to deeper tones and soulful tendencies. Support from Ben UFO on Rinse and Giles Peterson on Radio 1.
