We never thought “Sunshine” would get this far. And when we say “far” we mean it literally, geographically. Day after day we received messages from places like Argentina, Sweden, India, Colombia and Russia asking us how to get the vinyl. The problem was we had no more. We printed 250 copies and they were quickly gone, which was great but left us with a bitter feeling; loads of people had no chance to get it. That's why we have decided to re-edit it. Such a special track as “Sunshine” deserved something else than a typical re-print, so we decided to ask some close friends to give us their own vision of it. That's how we choose Delorean and NY cosmic duo Blondes to do the remixes. Delorean have supported us from the beginning and have just released their masterpiece (“Subiza”). In their remix they emphasize the summer genome of the track transforming it into a Balearic-pop gem as expansive, luminous and comforting as the sunshine.Blondes, for their part, take “Sunshine” to the moon wrapped in spacey synths, organic rhythms and a heavy bass. To daydream or to dance to it with closed eyes, it's your choice. Besides the new remixes, the re-edition also counts with a new design by Arnau Pi and comes in a precious blue vinyl. 300 new copies for the ones that couldn't get the first edition and for anyone that wants to have the complete Hivern collection.
