It is no secret that Jared Wilson lusts for machines from a different time and place to create his signature sound that reflects the best of italo, acid, house, and techno. “BFSH” provides the anchor for the release, weighing in with rich, full, analog goodness, complete with warming synth tonalities. You could call it acid, techno, house, or disco. We don’t care as long as you sweat! “New Cable Freaks 19303” turns up the heat with slick arpeggio elements making it something that begs to be called “video game disco”. Rounding out the EP is a remix of “BFSH” by one of dance music’s most respected names, Osborne, on one of America’s premier electronic labels, Spectral Sound. His take on the original is of a funked up acid house pedigree.
