In her quite heterogeneous artistic work and experiments Isabelle Finou uses and approaches different media and techniques. She is interested and fascinated by the sonic impact of spaces, rooms and places, as well as the effects of sound on the individual hearing memory. The artist understands the human body as a resonant cavity for sounds and noises. The compositions on this album are based on field-recordings captured in trains, train stations and in transit - in Cologne, Bochum, Berlin, Bruxelles, Riga and Istanbul.
