Right on the heels of our previous bass/electro smasher, we hit you with the most anticipated house/disco record of recent times. Helsinki 78-82 is a project by Top Billin team members Flipper & Koobra, who’ve always been active and always been down to bring something new to the label. While Flipper is part of the Top Billin dj team and has always been the most high-flying of us, so no wonder the the new 12” is some musical bliss that’ll leave you feeling that good good. This is what we call Big City House music, when you’re cruising the streets at night with the top down - no words needed. In a manner Michael Mann would be proud of. ‘So Lifelike is a ‘sort of’ remake of Lifelike’s great ‘ So Electric (under permission)’, although this time it comes with vocals from our great Helsinki new wave partners Villa Nah. If you are in need of a new end-nighter, this is it. ‘Cruising’ is a tune full of that pumping big city feel with driving drums and great synth work that will get them ladies on the floor and will fit into those funky house / modern disco sets.
