After ending last year with successful debut releases from Farkas and LAXX, Biscuit Factory Records returns with its first release of
2013. The first of a two part release sees established Bournemouth based producers, Genetix, bring their sound to the imprint.
The A side is Goin In. An eerie intro, layered with vocals, quickly leads into an unsuspecting drop. Deep, sub low basslines pulsate
throughout with perfectly placed melodic stabs giving the track its undeniable presence in any club. This is Dubstep in its purest form.
Mindrise on the flip maintains the moody and sinister feel to this release. Rolling drums and bongos come in straight from the start,
leading into a drop that will get you drawing for your best tribal skank. Genetix excellently demonstrate their ability to produce a track
that combines both the vintage bass-led sound, along with fresh and crisp percussion.
Available as a digital bonus track, 24/7 Reflex is another deep and dark track that oozes with the original half-step sound. Again,
Genetix effortlessly merge tribal sounding drums and bongos along with raw, aggressive synths.
All three tracks firmly cement the continuing intention and ethos of the label; to keep pushing good quality underground music into an
ever evolving scene. They have all being receiving massive support from key DJs within the last few months. Featured in Walshs and
N Types sets, they have quickly become sought after tracks by many other producers and DJs alike. Support also coming from
Hatcha (KISS FM, Sin City Records), Skream & Benga (BBC Radio One) and Youngsta (Tempa, Rinse FM).
