After having laid down the foundation of her new work with her previous EP, Flore pursues her unique sound vision with three tracks extracted from her A/V live show RITUAL.
The first track, brutally called “Attack Me”, is the perfect soundtrack for the exploration of a foreign planet once inhabited by a technologically advanced civilization. The hard pounding kicks, rolling snares and angelic choirs urge you to let go of all fear in order to find beauty.
Opening the flip side with a intriguing piano loop, Blood then submerges the listener with stereophonic beats, electrifying samples, bewitching melodies and killer bass lines.
The closing track Psykhé is as if Animal Collective and the Chemical Brothers had recorded their psychedelic ballad in a Henry Rousseau’s jungle painting. Xylophones, brass instruments, and flutes all come together and put the listener in an altered state of consciousness while maintaining a heavy dance floor pressure.
Massive, psychological, and immersive, this record is by far the strongest that Flore has ever released. By breaking every boundaries, she proves her credibility, not only as a talented dance music producer but as a full-blown artist.
