Through the Waveform Transmission-esque 'Triton' or equally pummeling alien frequencies of 'Proteus', the influence of heyday Tresor basement sweat and strobes on the a-side never seems far away. On the flip, mysterious UK producer Bleaching Agent (Mira, Opal Tapes, Komisch) turns in a jittery broken beat rework of 'Proteus' that's full of piercing atmosphere, while the churning bass and loose playful rhythms of 'Thyone' offers yet another peak-time option. Comes with one lock groove per side while also featuring the incredible artwork of Mixmeister, who supplies some suitably insane face sketches.
