Two excellent from Tulsa Oklahoma's finest funk band, Darwin's Theory. Unfortunately for funk and soul fans, neither of these songs were ever released! The material was recorded at Sly Stone's Santa Monica based studio in 1978. Darwin Jones was the studio's intern and luckily managed to bring his group of talented musicians from Tulsa to L.A. to record their entire repertoire at Sly's soon-to-be defunct recording lab. In fact, just days after this project was finished, the band helped Sly pack up and break down the studio. Two killer unreleased modern soul bits here! The "A" side simply being one of the best modern soul dancers we've ever heard. The "B" side being a perfect sunshine laced funk bomb just in time for summer! Warm vocal harmonies, amazing keys, and pure uncut soul lace both sides of this disc. This 7" is a pre LP single release. We have a full length LP/CD of Darwin's Theory material slated for release very soon!
