Following on closely on from his much talked about ‘Commodo’ EP released earlier in the year, Commodo is back with his 3rd release for DEEP MEDi. After the well received EP, Commodo has found himself busy on the DJ circuit playing busier and more varied shows allowing him to showcase his sound to a bigger audience, from the sell out DEEP MEDi party in Denver for Sub:mission’s 6th Birthday to Istanbul and beyond. With every release we see Commodo develop and evolve his sound. This single is no different, Buckwild kicks off immediately with its densely layered percussion, off-beat drums and twisted flow, add to that Commodo’s dark funk, warped rhythms and low end bass weight, giving us a unique slice of Dubstep for the mind, chest and feet. Axis on the flip is a more straight up, heads down 140 jam but not this dull, washed out dungeon sound you hear, Commodo adds his idiosyncratic swagger and slick grooves to give this one that raw cutting edge.
