After a 2 year + hiatus Apartment Records returns with its tenth release and it’s first with American dance music producer, Chase Smith (previously of WT Records / R Zone / Argot). Typical of the label’s varied approach to styles, across its four tracks “Sending You Some Lungs” touches on everything from bruising, muscular techno, growling acid house, synth pop, rave and classic, early Detroit techno. Chase’s high end production techniques bring his diverse influences together in seemingly effortless fashion with all music aimed squarely at a heaving, sweaty dance floor.
