In 1972 Katharina gave birth to a child named Demba in Berlin�s Buch district. Buch (German for ?book�) - the name seems to be prophetic, as he swiftly discovers that his home is somewhere between the lines. In 1989 he begins to write theater pieces, which he directs himself, a combination of personal stories and his music. A musical thing called BOUNDZOUND soon starts to evolve in his head. He shares his life with his clarinet and his singing voice, with the dance and with his habit of composing music. BOUNDZOUND starts to become a permanent partner for him. He teaches dance for vocalists in Berlin, and as the millennium draws to its end he starts a band project with a couple of friends. Well, it really is a pretty massive band project - named SEEED and they soon enthrall more people than fit in an average-sized town. BOUNDZOUND smiles and nods?And when Demba puts out his first solo record in 2007 there is only one name possible: BOUNDZOUND.Demba�s music crosses all the borders that he perceived while observing the world around him for so many years.
