Memphis soul group, The BO-KEYS, team up with vocalist PERCY WIGGINS to bring you a double shot of Memphis Soul and R&B.
PERCY WIGGINS, who cut classic Northern Soul sides in the 60s for ATCO and RCA, is featured on two original songs penned by theBO-KEYS and WIGGINS.
The Bobby "Blue" Bland inspired, R&B of "WRITING ON THE WALL" and the Southern Soul ballad, "I'M STILL IN NEED."MEMBERS: Vocalist Percy Wiggins cut sides in the 60s for RCA and ATCO with a studio band which included Billy Cox and Larry Lee who later went on to become members of Jimmy Hendrix's Band of Gypies.
Legendary Al Green/Hi Records drummer Howard Grimes. Trumpeter Ben Cauley, member of the Bar-Kays, who backed Otis Redding, among others.
Funky keyboardist Archie "Hubbie" Turner, who is heard on Hi Records and on Black Rock's "Yea Yea", which was sampled by The Black Keys.
