August 26 sees the welcome return of Babyshambles with their brand new single "Nothing Comes To Nothing", which is released on limited pink vinyl, backed by the demo version of forthcoming album track "Picture Me In A Hospital". Said album, "Sequel To The Prequel" follows a week later on 2 September, the same week the band start a 20-date tour of the UK (dates below). As Peter Doherty told the NME recently, “I don’t want this to be half arsed, I want to get up there and really f***ing smash it out. Babyshambles aren’t back, this band has always been here”. The single (like the album) features sleeve artwork by Brit-art icon Damien Hirst - Peter Dopherty is on this single with plans for Mik and Drew on subsequent releases.
