Introduced to dance music in 1997 by Daft Punk’s Homework, Baaz started djing and he soon became a well-known figure in the south german clubscene. Things really started to make sense when Baaz encountered music from US artists like Moodymann and Theo Parrish in 2000. They remain his biggest influences. Baaz already released his subtle yet pumpin deep house tracks on fab labels like Agnes’ Sthlmaudio, Sasha Dive’s Deep Vibes or Dan Bell’s Elevate. The “pass it on EP” on Quintesseentials is again the Baaz trademark sound: 4 proper subtle deep house cuts! Yeah!
