Elevate, if you remember, is the deep house label from Daniel Bell that put out a series of influential records in the late 90’s including the first 12" from Theo Parrish. These releases are still very much in demand and are going for high collectors prices online. It is now the summer of 2008 and Elevate is proud to present a new release, this time from Baaz. Baaz is a new artist with only a few releases so far including tracks on Sascha Dive’s Deep Vibes label and a full e.p. on Sthlmaudio. Baaz may hail from southern Germany but you would swear he grew up in the same Detroit neighborhood as Mike Huckaby or Moodymann when you hear his warm, gentle and deeply hypnotic house music.
