‘Attica’ is the debut release on Freerange for Andre Crom & Luca Doobie. Andre Crom & Luca Doobie deliver a piano led houser with ’nuff nods to the 90’s but with a raw Berlin approach. Andre Crom initially worked alongside Tigerskin and solo, producing releases for labels such as Leibe Detail, Leftroom and Tim Sheridan’s Very Very Wrong Indeed. Later in 2008 he started his own labels OFF and Heimatmelodie which were the homes of his bigger hits ‘Park Life’ and ‘Harmonics’. The single includes a killer remix from Makam, who is fast becoming hot property in underground circles, his releases on Soweso and Sushitech establishing his distinctive and original approach to cut-up filter house with a deep disco vibe. Their ‘Park Life’ track was a big underground hit in 2008 on Andre’s own OFF label, and was the track which introduced the duo to Jimpster who proceeded to snap them up for this EP. The pair have also released music on Playtime and Get Digital, the new offshoot of Get Physical.
