Fake Congas is a spin off project by Robotalco (Sebastiano Urciuoli) and Mouth (Luca Fontaneto), bringing all their childhood memories to life again with some analog machines and an internet connection. Lots of references to old house, soft pads breezy synths and a very distinctive touch from two of the most underrated names in the italian panorama for what might be the new sound in a stale scene. Jot their name down now before it is too late. Two Thousand is the stage name of italian born-berlin based artist Luca Murgia, already known to some for some dope releases and tracks in the past. Here he shows a very interesting concept that gels perfectly with the music, for what we might call a very sophisticated rendition of the new house music of the years to come.
