Worst Friends have pressed up 444 limited and hand numbered 12"s for their first vinyl release. The duo started out when they were drawn together by their mutual disrespect for one another's tastes in music, and frequently throw folk, glitch, disco and techno at each other to entertaining results. Their Track "Pillows of Wind" begged the question "What if Pink Floyd made a disco / house song?" People were curious to find out, as it rose to the top of Moodgadget Records recent comp "No New Enemies Vol. 1." Worst Friends were big fans of Bostro Pesopeo's recent EP for Permanent Vacation and were thrilled when he said he was down to give "pillows" his remix treatment. That mix is the 12"s A side and is a wonky, upbeat beach house groover that subtly builds until it's impossible for the listener to keep still. The B side has Worst Friends on remix duty giving their take on friends Praveen & Benoit (Pioulard)'s "Death As A Man". This side is a more slowed down affair at 104 bpm with some shimmering synths and building arps. The 12" was mastered at Salt by Paul Gold and plays at 45 rpm.
