The mysterious DJ collective known as Wild Geese return after their recent hot remixes of Hot Chip and Shit Robot with two new phuture-retro anthems that have both already been causing mayhem while being road tested at Wild Geese DJ sets all summer. Recorded in the tower block now standing on the site of Dalston's legendary 4 Aces club, 'Labyrinth' is a tribute to the original late 80s Dalston raves of the same name, a no-holds-barred treat for all fans of jacking Chicago acid trax, churning 303 basslines, big emotional piano drops and the happy happy days of smiley faces, sweat, kickers, dungarees, lucozade, love and acid. On the other side 'Runner' is a muscular Moroder on methedrone groove, a forgotten hi energy anthem slowed down, smacked out and generally put through the Wild Geese disco shredder then building to a fist-clenching climax that has already made it an anthem for both Horsemeat Disco and Disco Bloodbath DJs.
