Cheeky Bed Bugs - Marilips:
Knowing the quality of ruff and raw housey sounds that both Fabio Monesi and DJ Octopus are prone to in their tracks, Cheeky Bed Bugs is a collaboration that we have craved for and it comes in a gritty and dancefloor oriented form. Starting off as a warm and funky piece, Marilips soon goes into a puncher with a moving bassline and a reverbed claps while the main sequence taints it with an ominous feel. The whole track is enveloped in an almost burned texture giving it pretty live sound that will heat your feet in the club. Nothing short of a cheeky feel!
Rimbaudian - Tonight:
If you check up Rimbaudian¥s work you will soon notice that he has a great feel for fusing sharp rhythmics with warm vocals. Tonight is a profound mixture of well swinged rhythm and emotive piano-synth notes. Playful vocal sections are dancing around in unison while the right amount of stabs and crashes give a subtle but steady and deep tone to it. Whether you apply it like an intro track, morning riser or just an intimate listening tool, this track has all the necessary ingredients for a soulful and melodic experience.
Sagats - Raining Days:
Raining Days is all about pouring the fat acid droplets on your senses. This massive ride is carried by delaying 707 elements while reappearing 303 is making narrow curves through the storm of repeating rimshots and claps. With this one, Sagats really nails the definition of a pulsating dancefloor monster that contracts and expands throughout the whole length. Mix this with a powerful output system and you have a volatile mixture ready to bring the walls to the ground.
Christian Kroupa - Jackin For Good:
In the last few years Slovenia has spewed some pretty interesting names and Christian is surely one of them. With a wide palette of rich combinations in his tracks he manages to combine different influences and roots into creative mess and Jackin For Good is exactly that. Kicking off with an early 80s elements the track soon gives way under massive bass-synth and later evolving vocals. That 80s root is never lost, not even with the entry of a raw sax sequence stirring everything into a blend of a street colored bouncer. Rough, warm and effective!
